Camp Rock: Guitar Versions

Ever since Camp Rock has been airing at Disney Channel, I love listening & singing the song "This Is Me" sang by Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. Actually, the other Jonas Brothers were also a part of the movie.

This past weeks, I have been searching in the net some chords/ guitar chords for the song This is Me. Question: Have you seen the acoustic version of the song? The acoustic version was sang by Julianne & Miguel Escueta. Watch that music video, you'll love it, its so simple yet the thought is still there.

So those out there who love Camp Rock as much as I do & who are requesting for some guitar chords, here it is.

My Long Comeback

Well..well..well..

Its been a while, about a month that I didn't do some blogging. School is really on my head lately and happy to say that school is finally over. Hahaha! for this semester only. Wheew! Talk about pressure with all the school works. I was sad that I didn't made a blog about the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles versus their fight with their rivalry the De LaSalle Green Archers, gosh! because I did not watch that UAAP bout.

Anyways, what I missed most is that I did not blog about our school fiesta and even my birthday, hehehehe, but its ok.

So as this post is about to end, I'm going to start placing some new blogs/posts.

Thanks for reading & God bless.

My Retreat- Jose Rizal

My Retreat
Beside a spacious beach of fine and delicate sand and at the foot of a mountain greener than a leaf, I planted my humble hut beneath a pleasant orchard, seeking in the still serenity of the woods repose to my intellect and silence to my grief.
Its roof is fragile nipa; its floor is brittle bamboo; its beams and posts are rough as rough-hewn wood can be; of no worth, it is certain, is my rustic cabin; but on the lap of the eternal mount it slumbers and night and day is lulled by the crooning of the sea.
The overflowing brook, that from the shadowy jungle descends between huge bolders, washes it with its spray, donating a current of water through makeshift bamboo pipes that in the silent night is melody and music and crystalline nectar in the noon heat of the day.
If the sky is serene, meekly flows the spring, strumming on its invisible zither unceasingly; but come the time of the rains, and an impetuous torrentspills over rocks and chasms—hoarse, foaming and aboil—to hurl itself with a frenzied roaring toward the sea.
The barking of the dog, the twittering of the birds, the hoarse voice of the kalaw are all that I hear; there is no boastful man, no nuisance of a neighbor to impose himself on my mind or to disturb my passage; only the forests and the sea do I have near.
The sea, the sea is everything! Its sovereign mass brings to me atoms of a myriad faraway lands; its bright smile animates me in the limpid mornings; and when at the end of day my faith has proven futile, my heart echoes the sound of its sorrow on the sands.
At night it is a mystery! … Its diaphanous element is carpeted with thousands and thousands of lights that climb; the wandering breeze is cool, the firmament is brilliant, the waves narrate with many a sigh to the mild wind histories that were lost in the dark night of time.
‘Tis said they tell of the first morning on the earth, of the first kiss with which the sun inflamed her breast, when multitudes of beings materialized from nothing to populate the abyss and the overhanging summits and all the places where that quickening kiss was pressed.
But when the winds rage in the darkness of the night and the unquiet waves commence their agony, across the air move cries that terrify the spirit, a chorus of voices praying, a lamentation that seems to come from those who, long ago, drowned in the sea.
Then do the mountain ranges on high reverberate; the trees stir far and wide, by a fit of trembling seized; the cattle moan; the dark depths of the forest resound; their spirits say that they are on their way to the plain, summoned by the dead to a mortuary feast.
The wild night hisses, hisses, confused and terrifying; one sees the sea afire with flames of green and blue; but calm is re-established with the approach of dawning and forthwith an intrepid little fishing vessel begins to navigate the weary waves anew.
So pass the days of my life in my obscure retreat; cast out of the world where once I dwelt: such is my rare good fortune; and Providence be praised for my condition: a disregarded pebble that craves nothing but moss to hide from all the treasure that in myself I bear.
I live with the remembrance of those that I have loved and hear their names still spoken, who haunt my memory; some already are dead, others have long forgotten— but what does it matter? I live remembering the past and no one can ever take the past away from me.
It is my faithful friend that never turns against me, that cheers my spirit when my spirit’s a lonesome wraith, that in my sleepless nights keeps watch with me and prays with me, and shares with me my exile and my cabin, and, when all doubt, alone infuses me with faith.
Faith do I have, and I believe the day will shine when the Idea shall defeat brute force as well; and after the struggle and the lingering agony a voice more eloquent and happier than my own will then know how to utter victory’s canticle.
I see the heavens shining, as flawless and refulgent as in the days that saw my first illusions start; I feel the same breeze kissing my autumnal brow, the same that once enkindled my fervent enthusiasm and turned the blood ebullient within my youthful heart.
Across the fields and rivers of my native town perhaps has traveled the breeze that now I breathe by chance; perhaps it will give back to me what once I gave it: the sighs and kisses of a person idolized and the sweet secrets of a virginal romance.
On seeing the same moon, as silvery as before, I feel within me the ancient melancholy revive; a thousand memories of love and vows awaken: a patio, an azotea, a beach, a leafy bower; silences and sighs, and blushes of delight …
A butterfly athirst for radiances and colors, dreaming of other skies and of a larger strife, I left, scarcely a youth, my land and my affections, and vagrant everywhere, with no qualms, with no terrors, squandered in foreign lands the April of my life.
And afterwards, when I desired, a weary swallow, to go back to the nest of those for whom I care, suddenly fiercely roared a violent hurricane and I found my wings broken, my dwelling place demolished, faith now sold to others, and ruins everywhere.
Hurled upon a rock of the country I adore; the future ruined; no home, no health to bring me cheer; you come to me anew, dreams of rose and gold, of my entire existence the solitary treasure, convictions of a youth that was healthy and sincere.
No more are you, like once, full of fire and life, offering a thousand crowns to immortality; somewhat serious I find you; and yet your face beloved, if now no longer as merry, if now no longer as vivid, now bear the superscription of fidelity.
You offer me, O illusions, the cup of consolation; you come to reawaken the years of youthful mirth; hurricane, I thank you; winds of heaven, I thank you that in good hour suspended by uncertain flight to bring me down to the bosom of my native earth.
Beside a spacious beach of fine and delicate sand and at the foot of a mountain greener than a leaf, I found in my land a refuge under a pleasant orchard, and in its shadowy forests, serene tranquility, repose to my intellect and silence to my grief.

ADMU vs. AdU

For some of my avid readers, if I do have hehehehe, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting. Recently, our school has just celebrated its 60 years of excellence and that the school celebrated its college fiesta. Not only with this college fiesta but also with the school work.

August 17, 2008 held another game of the Ateneo Blue Eagles against the Adamson University Falcons at the Philsports Arena. I'll make this post short because I watched the game just now and I was at the 4th quarter, not to mention I missed my half life not seeing my dreamboy Chris Tiu, Captain Ball of the Blue Eagles of Ateneo. HAHAHAHAHA!

The winners of the game are the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles leading 65-55, Sorry, please correct me if I'm wrong, I did not catch up with the scoring list because like what I said, late ako sa pagtingin ng game sa Studio 23.

Im sorry to my readers if this post is cut short, I don't have the details & indeed my data is insufficient.
Hehehehe!

UAAP- ADMU vs. UST

Another game of the Blue Eagles & the Growling Tigers had started. August 3, 2008 held at the Araneta Sports Complex, the game started at around 4pm and ended 6pm at Studio 23. Hot & pressured game that were felt by the crowding audiences. So in short, I'm a hard core fanatic of the Ateneo Blue Eagles because I'm watching their game since the starting season of the UAAP.
First five, known as the "FRONT-RUNNERS" of the Ateneo Blue Eagles game had felt the heat on. The Captain- Chris Tiu, Rabeh Al-Hussaini & Jai Reyes were still the unbeatables. If you can only see the game on Studio 23, gosh! the game is really on. The Blue Eagles, fresh from their defeat against the FEU Tamarraws made a vow that they will win this game against the Growling Tigers.
Chris Tiu, had shown his amazing performance in the game. A Growling Tiger (forgot the name) made a foul against Tiu but the #17 bounce back. After that he made a high performance shot by making a two point shot using his left hand while four Growling Tigers were blocking him from shooting. But its not the only great performance that he showed in the 2nd quarter, in the succeeding quarters he made a wow to his enemies(IN THE GAME HUH!) & the crowd also that were cheering for him. One of the fantastic highlights were in he attempted to shoot but there were 3 UST Tigers again blocking his way in shooting the ring, in an instant he passed it to his teammate, Jai Reyes making him shoot the 3 point mark and what you know! that throw was a big shot. That part was one of the amazing highlights and the greatest assist of the game. The second quarter leadings were the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles.
When the score reached, 52-50 (leading UST) I thought that the UST are going to win this game but it was not, real not! Al-Hussaini (19) made his gorilla shot in the ring making them a tie. Question, on the first place, how did the UST Growling Tigers made their way in a 52 score? Mizra (14), one of the best 3 point shooters of the UST Tigers tried his might on shooting the hoops using the 3 point mark. I was amazed that he did try to elevate their status more by making them leaders in the mid-3rd quarter.
One of the consistent shooters of the game were Reyes, Al-Hussaini, Tiu, Buenafe of the Blue Eagles and Mizra of the Growling Tigers made a name in the 3 point mark of the 3rd quarter game. Can't explain more about this game because I'm having a hangover about the game especially Chris Tiu who made a tremendous bounce back.
The score is 64-57 making Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles leading in the UAAP games for this season.
A liitle info, to those who like Chris Tiu, well I kinda admit that he is hot, sexy, smart, maputi & chinito but to those who admire, like or LOVE him already, he is not anymore available. He has a girlfriend already by the name of Gladys. Sorry girls!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAR! =)

Tapak-tapakan lang ako ni BOOKWORM!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Bookworm talaga ang pic ko dito noh.
The funny thing is tinapakan lang ako kanina. I'll make this short, this post is really not intended to ba a blog but I feel so depressed & angry on this day. That guy has been in my mind & sometimes he is a pain in my butt. Really! The problem is he never ever cared of my feelings. I'm tryin' to show it slowly but surely pero parang wala lang sa kanya. Haaaai, ewan!

UAAP- ADMU vs. FEU

Am I nationalistic with my school? I guess. I have watched the latest battle of ADMU Blue Eagles & the FEU Tamaraws in Studio 23. I'm an avid fan of basketball & what interest me is this university games. Just as I arrived home, I immediately turn on the TV to see if the ADMU Blue Eagles have a game and my predictions were correct. I have been recently a avid fan of the ADMU because of their star player Chris Tiu wearing jercey # 17. The reason I watch this UAAP games of the ADMU Blue Eagles is because I like Chris Tiu. His athletic physique & sexy biceps were the object of my desire, hahahaha! joke! actually he is a good player whenever he is paired up with Rabeh Al- Hussaini (CORRECT??), the two are unstoppable. Their head coach is one of the most toughest and disciplined coach that I ever seen, from the television of course but if I do meet him by chance, I would like to have an autograph with him, by the way their head coach is Norman Black.

As I turn on the television, sad to say I was already seeing the 3rd quarter of the games. Too bad! But I get to see Chris in action. The American rookie, Long was his family name, forgot his jercey # was a good shooter, with Al-Hussaini as the highest pointer in rebounds & shoots. There was a part in the game that amazed me, it was when Al-Hussaini, jercey # 19 had got hand the ball form Long & he instantly made a shoot on the ring, he just pass it on the ring. I can't demonstrate it here on the blog but if you get the chance to see that again, you will be amazed.

The ADMU was leading in the 2nd-mid 4th quarter but the FEU Tamaraws beat them in a fast glitch. Succeeding free throws, steals and a whole lot of great ideas made the Tamaraws win the UAAP game this day, July 31, 2008 at the Araneta Sports Coliseum.

The score was 68-72. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you!

Do you think that Philippines is getting richer or poorer?
